Rapper Kanye West was hospitalized Monday in Los Angeles after abruptly canceling the remaining dates on his "Saint Pablo" tour, according to NBC News.
TMZ is reporting that he was taken to UCLA Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation.
A source told NBC that Los Angeles police responded to a medical welfare call around 1:20 p.m. local time and West was hospitalized for his own safety.
This comes after a week of bizarre outbursts from the star.
Last Thursday, during a concert in San Jose, California, West announced that he didn't vote in the 2016 election, but he would have supported President-elect Donald Trump.
Then, two days later he railed on everyone from Beyonce to Mark Zuckerberg during a concert in Sacramento, California.
He then proceeded to leave the concert after performing just two songs. That enraged fans and the hashtag #KanyeIsOverParty began trending on Twitter.
To top it all off, Monday West canceled his 21 remaining shows in locations ranging from Southern California to Boston.
Live Nation, West's concert promoter did not give a reason for the cancellation.
