WATCH | Watch out, McDonald's! Morgan Spurlock, the filmmaker behind the hit documentary, "Super Size Me," is opening up his own fast food joint. Holy Chicken! will have a 4 day test run this weekend in Columbus, Ohio.
Around the time of Thanksgiving is usually when fast food chains test market new food concepts. Ohio is no stranger to these kind of regional experiments.
Spurlock is hoping to gain control of an increasing fast food market where consumers value organic, small menu fast food chains. Like Chipotle, Five Guys and Shake Shack, he hopes his Holy Chicken! establishment will be a big hit with customers.
Holy Chicken! will serve only hormone free, antibiotic-free, cage-free, humanely raised chickens.
Looks pretty good, right?
It opens up November 19th at 11:00 am.
Say goodbye, McChicken!
