Because 2016.
If you're into taking selfies, you probably know that getting pictures of yourself drinking soda is always really hard. Or at least that's what Coca-Cola is trying to facilitate.
The beverage company's Israel branch unveiled the selfie-bottle, which lets you take selfies while you drink their soda.

The bottle looks like a normal Coca-Cola bottle with a red base. The red base is equipped with a camera.
How it works
The camera base at the bottom of the bottle uses proprietary camera technology to capture a photo anytime the device senses a 70-degree tilt, which is apparently the angle at which most people drink.
It also has a function that lets you share that sexy selfie on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
It really does the trick and makes the partygoers more present and active during the event, knowing they can share their special moments just by drinking.
The bottle was designed by the Gefen Team after Coca-Cola Israel realized there was a gap in the market for novelty drinks.
