WATCH | Comedians gathered in honor of the International Myeloma Foundation’s 10th Annual Comedy Celebration. Just before the night began, we made sure to warm up some of our comedian friends by having them get out some of their inner frustrations and of course, share some laughs.
WATCH | Hosted by Ray Romano, this year’s show featured performances by Bill Burr, Jeff Garlin, JB Smoove, Fred Willard, Michael McKean and many more. Prior to the night of loud laughs, attendees enjoyed a silent auction in which proceeds help raise money for research to find a cure for myeloma.
Loraine Alterman Boyle founded this event in 2007 just after the passing of her husband, the late Peter Boyle. Since the first event, the annual celebration has raised over $5 million for the Peter Boyle Research Fund.
WATCH | This year’s show did not disappoint. Peter Boyle’s close friend and longtime cast-mate Ray Romano paid tribute and shared memories of Peter, cracking up a packed house at The Wilshire Ebell Theatre.
WATCH | And of course, in light of the recent election, there was definitely plenty of material to go around.
The Peter Boyle Fund was established to support IMF's research and with that help, this year they will launch two targeted Cure Trials.
