A "Big Bang Theory" prequel may already be in the works, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The show will reportedly be called "Sheldon" and will focus on the original show's most iconic character, Sheldon Cooper, as a teenager.
None of the show's original cast will be part of this show except for Jim Parsons, who currently plays Sheldon. We can only imagine he will also play the teen version of himself. Right now, he's slated for an executive producer role.
I can't imagine doing that. I couldn't imagine taking any part of this show and separating it; it's all one piece to me.
"Big Bang Theory" is in its 10th season and has not yet been renewed for an 11th, though Hollywood Reporter says the cast is negotiating new deals for future seasons.
The show remains the most-watched comedy among people between aged 18 and 49.
Both Warner Bros. and CBS declined the Reporter's request for comment.
