A Trump supporter yelled 'Jew-S-A' at the press during a rally

A man at a Donald Trump rally in Phoenix on Saturday was caught yelling "Jew-S-A'" at the press as the crowd around him yelled the familiar "U-S-A" chant.

At other points, the man yelled "you are the enemy" and "you are the ones working for the devil" at press staff. In a CNN interview on Sunday, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway denounced the man's actions, saying he did not represent the campaign and she would have had the man removed if she had been standing near him.

Trump and his supporters have doubled down on claims the media has turned against them.

Here's another angle of the man's chants.

The campaign strongly condemns this kind of rhetoric and behavior. It is not acceptable at our rallies or elsewhere.
Hope Hicks

Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks also condemned the man's actions in a statement to Politico. In Trump's speech, he called reporters "terrible people."

Here are other comments directed at the press at that Phoenix rally, according to Politico:

  • "You are rapists"
  • "You need to pay for Bill Clinton's rape"
  • "You are responsible"

During the same rally, a man was removed after staring down the press.
