What a load of crap!
That's likely how each of us has reacted to a politician or two this election cycle.
But for the Warren County Democratic Party they actually received a load of manure outside their headquarters in Lebanon, Ohio, Saturday.
According to the Washington Post, a sheriff's deputy noticed the giant pile of crap around 8 a.m. and notified party officials.
So dumping manure outside of the Democratic Party headquarters may sound out of the ordinary, but apparently, this has happened before.
In 2012, someone dumped a massive pile of horse manure in front of the building and no one was ever caught.
"At the time, we did not have a camera system because it kind of caught us by surprise," Bethe Goldenfield, chairwoman of the Warren County Democratic Party, told the Washington Post.
This time, however, the culprit or culprits were caught on surveillance video. The Warren County Sheriff's Office is now reviewing that footage.
Goldenfield told Circa the pile was approximately 20 feet wide and 3 feet tall at its peak.
It was so high that it even covered up a sign at the front of the building which read: "Smile you're on camera."
Jeff Monroe, chairman of the Warren County Republican Party, told Cincinnati.com that the GOP had offered to help clean up the mess.
Goldenfield responded to the incident in a statement to Circa, saying: "When they dump manure, we go high! We are one of the best performing county offices, generating strong Democratic early vote numbers. We will keep our focus on our goal of electing Hillary Clinton and other Democrats by continuing to organize and getting out our vote while they waste time. This incident will motivate us even more to contact more voters and get out the vote."
She added that the Warren County Democratic Party has had a good number of new volunteers since the incident.
Earlier this month, someone firebombed a Republican Party headquarters in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
A North Carolina GOP official called that incident an act of "political terrorism."
