A registered Republican in Iowa was arrested and booked into the Polk County, Iowa, jail Thursday afternoon, the Des Moines Register reports.
Terri Lynn Rote, 55, casted an early ballot at a Polk County election site and then a second ballot in Des Moines, according to the 'Register.'
According to the 'Register,' this is the first time in 12 years on the job the Polk County auditor can remember having to report potential voter fraud.
Rote was arrested and held on bail, but has been released.
A political editor for "The Blaze" photographed Rote during the primaries.
Police said that two others are accused of mailing in ballots and then trying to vote in person.
They haven't been arrested, police said.
Trump has warned about voter fraud repeatedly and has even asked his supporters to watch out for it on Election Day.
Of course there is large scale voter fraud happening on and before election day. Why do Republican leaders deny what is going on? So naive!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 17, 2016
So...has anyone told Trump that one of his supporters tried to commit voter fraud?
