WATCH: Hillary Clinton's statement on the FBI's new investigation into her emails
Despite many reports to the contrary, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made a statement today regarding the new FBI probe into emails from her private server.
FBI Director James Comey sent a three-paragraph letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee saying that the FBI would be combing through the new emails to see if any of them contained sensitive or classified information.
In the statement, Clinton asked the FBI to release to the public and the campaigns more information about what prompted the bureau to open a new investigation.
Both Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and Clinton campaign manager John Podesta asked the FBI to tell the campaigns more about their new emails.
