R&B singer Sevyn Streeter was supposed to perform the National Anthem at a Philadelphia 76ers game on Wednesday, but was told last minute that she couldn't because she was wearing a shirt that said "We Matter"
However, the team has now apologized to Streeter and invited her back, reports USA Today.
In a statement, the Sixers said that they're sorry the incident happened and that "Sevyn should have been welcomed to sing."
Check out the Sixers' statement.
Despite the invite back, but she hasn't responded to the team yet (at least not publicly).
The Sixers had a member of their dance team sing the anthem in Streeter's place.
Streeter posted this tweet last night, explaining what happened to her.
