A teen was shot by a student outside Union Middle School in Sandy, Utah, according to our partners at KUTV.
The victim, 16, was in critical but stable condition Tuesday night. The school was briefly locked down; although the shooting took place after school hours, students were still in the building for after-school activities.
Police said the suspect, 14, was arrested, but it's not yet clear if he will be charged as an adult.
