Today's a good day to be a Cleveland fan. The hometown Indians play the Chicago Cubs to kick off the World Series.

Both teams have had lengthy World Series droughts. The Indians haven't won since 1948. The Cubs haven't even been to the Fall Classic since 1945, and they haven't won since 1908.

While all that baseball is going on, the Cleveland Cavaliers kick off the defense of their NBA championship on the same night. USA Today reports the NBA even rescheduled the Cavs ring ceremony so fans didn't have to miss the Indians game.

FILE - This May 20, 2005, file photo shows Jacobs Field (now Progressive Field), right, and Gund Arena (now Quicken Loans Arena) in Cleveland. When LeBron James and the Cavaliers, whose historic comeback in June against Golden State in the NBA Finals ended Cleveland’s title drought dating to 1964, receive their championship rings and a banner is raised in Quicken Loans Arena before their season opener, the emotional ceremony will merely be the warm-up act. Next door, at Progressive Field, the Indians will host the Chicago Cubs in Game 1 of the World Series. (AP Photo/Mark Duncan, File)

This could get hectic in the city. Both the Quicken Loans Arena (at left, where the Cavs play) and Progressive Field (to the right, where the Indians play) share a parking lot.

Well said.

Hope you got your beauty sleep, Cleveland.

On the West Coast, the Golden State Warriors will start their run for a championship, now with superstar Kevin Durant on the squad, playing against the San Antonio Spurs. The Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers also play tonight.

What are you most excited to watch tonight?
