Thanks to the Cleveland Indians' shortstop Francisco Lindor for taking Taco Bell's "Steal a Base, Steal A Taco" promotion so seriously.
Because of Lindor, America can sleep soundly knowing that its citizens will receive a free Doritos Locos Taco on Nov. 2.
Here's a look at Lindor's taco-winning steal:
So here's how the promotion works:
If a base is stolen during Game 1 or 2, free tacos will be given out on Nov. 2 from 2-6 p.m.
And because Lindor stole a base in Game 1, he will be known as this year's "Taco Hero."
In 2015, Lorenzo Cain of the Kansas City Royals stole a base in Game 1. Thanks to Cain, Taco Bell gave out Crunchwraps.
Naturally, the Twitterverse is very excited about this major World Series development:
Congrats on your free taco America. *Good luck remembering to show up at Taco Bell between 2-6pm on November 2!— Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) October 26, 2016
