A man dressed as a tree was arrested for blocking traffic at an intersection Monday in Portland, Maine.
Officers said the man didn't respond when they warned him not to obstruct traffic in the busy downtown intersection.
A local TV editor posted the tree's very slow take-down by police.
Officers arrested the man after he continued to block traffic.
Kattey Ortiz, another TV producer on the scene, tweeted saying that the human-tree hybrid pulled off the "performance" to see how it would impact "people's natural choreography."
Treeman, who Oritz identified as 30-year-old Asher Woodworth, was charged with obstructing a public way.
