Usually, fans of Girl Scout cookies (basically everyone) have to wait weeks for their boxes to arrive.
Next year, however, the beloved cookies will be on grocery store shelves in the form of cereal.
Monday, General Mills announced it plans to produce limited-edition Girl Scout cookie cereal.

The new cereal will come in two flavors, Thin Mint and Caramel Crunch.
Thin Mints are one of the 12 Girl Scout cookie flavors. Caramel Crunch isn't, but that cereal is meant to taste like Caramel deLites or Samoas.
General Mills said the cereal will hit stores nationwide in January, the same time as the Girl Scouts' cookie-selling season.
The company told CNN that some of the proceeds will benefit the Girl Scouts of the United States of America.
Naturally, everyone on Twitter is thrilled about this development in the world of Girl Scout cookies.
