Today was Pennsylvania native Nadine Baum's birthday was last week on Oct. 13. Nadine turned 100 years old and decided to celebrate by inviting some friends to a lunch at the local McDonald's.
Baum had eaten lunch daily with her son at the fast-food restaurant for five or six years.
She was not, however, entirely prepared for what was supposed to be a very familiar experience.
When Nadine walked through the door, her usual table was decked out in balloons and flowers. A birthday cake sat waiting for her.
Staff at the McDonalds had cooked up the surprise for Nadine due to the amount of affection they had for the regular.
The icing on the Big Mac? The staff presented Nadine with a certificate for free food for the rest of her life.
Now we can see you every day!
Staffers joked that Nadine was much better behaved than those usually celebrating their birthday at the restaurant.
A few denizens of the internet have taken small nuggets of wisdom from Baum's birthday.
Some have even suggested McDonald's might be the secret to longevity...
