Kim Kardashian dropped her lawsuit against MediaTakeOut after the celebrity site admitted its reports suggesting the reality TV star staged a Paris robbery were false.

The lawsuit cited three stories that have since been removed from the website.

Shortly after Kim Kardashian West was robbed in Paris, a small but vocal chorus internet said that the reality TV star had somehow staged the robbery.

MediaTakeOut published three articles implying she had done so. Kardashian ultimately sued the site for libel. Now MediaTakeOut has deleted the offending articles, The Huffington Post reports.

She is a mother, she is a wife, and she was a victim of a violent crime. She definitely did not deserve it and she deserved to be believed.

The founder of MediaTakeOut, Fred Mwangaguhunga, said he realized Kardashian West was actually robbed and strove to "provide the most accurate information to our readers."
