This looks like your average Instagram profile, right?
Who is Louise Delage?
The woman joined Instagram on August 1. Her Instagram bio says she's a 25-year-old from Paris, France. At a glance, the short-hair brunette looks like your typical young adult.
She's pictured eating with friends, chilling at the beach and playing games at a local fair.
There's even a few artsy snapshots of her food.
But if you look a little closer, you'll notice something quite peculiar.
Alcohol. That's the common denominator in every photo. So, is this an alcohol aficionado?
'Like my addiction'
It turns out this Instagram page does not belong to a real person. "Louise" is a model and part of an alcohol awareness campaign.
The most recent post is a video, which explains the profile is part of an effort to bring awareness to alcohol abuse in young adults.
"Louise Delage" was the product of the campaign "Like My Addiction" by advertising agency BETC.
Alcohol abuse, by the numbers
In the United States, about 12 percent of adult women report binge drinking three times a month, averaging five drinks per binge, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
For men, about 23 percent report binge drinking five times a month, averaging eight drinks per binge. About 2.5 percent of women and 4.5 percent of men met the diagnostic criteria for alcohol dependence in the past year.
