Amid reports that his wife does not support his re-election, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari said during a press conference in Berlin (alongside German Chancellor Angela Merkel) that the Nigerian first lady's place is in the kitchen.
"I don't know which party my wife belongs to but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room," said the president.

Buhari's wife, Aisha, is a businesswoman and an activist who in the past has said she will only support her husband's re-election if he does not change his governing style.
Politics sometimes should be spiced with humour. Those of us around him know there is never a dull moment with him.
