Leah Tysse sang the national anthem before a Sacramento Kings basketball game on Tuesday.
She took a knee as she sang "land of the free" and explained her actions on Facebook.

Tysse knelt in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick and others who have knelt during the anthem to protest police brutality.
"This is not who we claim to be as a nation," Tysse wrote.

She had many supporters.

Some even called her a "traitor."
