About Our People Legal Stuff
File-This Oct. 5, 2016, file photo shows Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaking during a campaign rally, in Reno, Nev. Why now? And why this? For the legion of Republicans who abandoned Trump on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, recoiling in horror from comments their party’s White House nominee made about using his fame to prey on women, there is no escaping those questions. The fallout from Trump's lewd comments continues, including a fiery CNN rant

Donald Trump advisor Rudy Giuliani appeared on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday.

I am happy to throw a stone.
Jake Tapper, CNN

Host Jake Tapper asked Giuliani about the comments he was recorded making about being able to "grab [women] by the pussy" because he was a star.  Giuliani paraphrased the Bible, saying "He who hasn't sinned, cast the first stone" (based on John 8:7).

Tapper responded by saying he had never heard any man, including himself, say anything close to what Trump said.

Giuliani called Trump's comments "horrible" but said he had made a "full and complete apology."

Trump's comments, recorded in 2005 but released on Friday by The Washington Post, have caused many Republican leaders to rescind support for him.

Trump insisted he will not drop out of the race and is continuing to prepare for Sunday night's debate

Trump attacked GOP leadership on Sunday for their lack of support.

He later called out "self-righteous hypocrites."

Donald Trump Apology Video

Earlier, he apologized for his comments, but quickly pivoted to attacking the Clintons.

On Saturday night, he retweeted an account claiming to be Juanita Broaddrick.

Here's the second retweet.

Broaddrick claimed in 1999 that Bill Clinton had raped her in the 1970s, The Washington Post reports.

In Trump's apology video, he said, "Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course," which now seems to imply he will make Broaddrick's story part of his campaign.

Clinton has long denied Broaddrick's allegations.
