Adam West kept it real about Batman, 'Family Guy' and ice cream at New York Comic-Con

WATCH  | Adam West, who brought so much fun to the title role in the original "Batman" TV series, kept things just as loose with a one-on-one chat with Circa at New York Comic-Con.

Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders - Trailer

West talked with Circa on Thursday, the same day his new movie, "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders," premiered.

He reflected upon his legacy as Batman, the iconic character he played in the late '60s.

WATCH  | He also was asked to pick his favorite moment relating to his "Family Guy" character, Mayor Adam West. It involves a cat launcher, because of course it does.

"It's hard to answer because the guy is so loony," he said. "He's really Looney Tunes."

He concluded that his favorite ice cream flavor is pistachio, and his reason was amazing.

That reason is pretty much the best: "Instead of bonjour, I say pistachio."
