Hurricane Matthew roars toward Florida, experience the fury in 360 degree virtual reality

Watch here in 360 degrees as Hurricane Matthew inches his way to the east coast of Florida

Hurricane Matthew intensified late Thursday as it roared toward Florida as a Category 4 storm, scattering coastal residents in the Sunshine State after killing at least 280 in Haiti alone.

After Gov. Rick Scott ordered evacuations, Circa toured a mostly abandoned Daytona Beach.

The effects of Hurricane Matthew were already being felt along the coast. Driving rain has started to fall as the surf has strengthened throughout the day and into the evening.

Here's what are 360 virtual reality camera caught.

To the right you will find a path that leads you to Boardwalk Amusements and the rollercoaster tracks in the distance, notice the pier to the left of that with a seafood restaurant built on top.

Behind you are a few hotels that are usually full of guests but with today's events it is housing local and national media covering Matthew. To the left the boardwalk continues north for a couple more yards.
