President Obama announced on Wednesday that he believes that the Paris Climate Agreement is the best chance the United States and the world have at reducing carbon emissions and ensuring the future of generations to come.
The Paris Climate Agreement is a plan signed by over 190 nations to reduce carbon emissions during the next decade. The United States recently signed onto the plan and it will go into effect on Nov. 4.
