Another Republican congressman endorsed Hillary Clinton for president

Former Navy secretary and Virginia Republican Senator John Warner is endorsing the Democratic ticket for the first time in his life by voting for Hillary Clinton.

"You've always got to think of country first that's the dominant issue and in this very troubled world we have today America's got to put forward its strongest leadership," he said.

The Republican Party of Virginia dismissed the Warner endorsement, painting him as someone who has been disloyal to his own party, adding "the only news here would be if John Warner had endorsed Donald Trump."

Democratic VP nominee Tim Kaine doesn't think a Donald Trump presidency would be a dangerous one, explaining he doesn't even see him as a "viable candidate."

"I really had dismissed Trump as a viable candidate simply because of how he's denigrated the military," Kaine said to Sinclair's chief political correspondent Scott Thuman.
