VR is about to rock your world and Circa's taking you there on a Hellevator of a ride

WATCH  | Imagine walking through a department store, boarding a ship, even going to Mars, all without ever leaving your home.  We're not talking about the future. This is now. President of VR Society Jim Chabin told our Stephanie Abrams virtual reality is about to change everything.

We're going to be able to not only show you a movie, we're going to be able to put you in the movie.
Jim Chabin, President of VR Society

Chabin, former president of the Emmys, believes there'll be an Emmy awards category for Virtual Reality content in the near future.  He pointed out that every major movie coming out in the next year has a VR team working on Virtual Reality experiences so viewers can experience the movie as a character or with their favorite character.

Chabin says what's new to consumers is old news to government. NASA began training astronauts with VR in the 1990s. The goggles have downsized tremendously since then and Jim predicts they'll look like sunglasses one day.

Circa 360 launches tonight with its first immersive VR content.  The three-minute Hellevator journey previewing the Game Show Network's reality program will be available exclusively on Circa.com thanks to our VR partnership with MomentumXR and 360 AdSpots.

Game Show network's new season of "Hellevator" starts on October 7, 2016. But you can try the experience right now with a VR 360 ride on the Hellevator.

This 360 VR is best viewed on a full-screen computer, laptop or Android device and may not work on Apple iOS devices.

Journalists have an amazing front row seat to history, and we're now able to bring our fans along to experience exactly what we're recording.
John Soloman, Circa Chief Creative Officer

The preview of Hellevator is just a taste of what's to come on the new Circa 360 platform.  You'll also see twice-a-week VR newscasts, regular entertainment and news content, and even pre-roll ads shot entirely in VR through 360 AdSpots.

Circa started recording VR content late this summer.  Ride in a blimp, on a motorcycle with the Donald Trump bike gang, stand in a crowded political rally, go overseas to Haiti and to many more places.  Circa is your  experience.
