Mike Rowe ran outside naked with a shotgun to shoot a drone that was filming him

We couldn't make this up if we tried.

Last Tuesday, former 'Dirty Jobs' host Mike Rowe was awoken from his slumber by the sound of a large bumblebee. It turned out, someone was operating a drone equipped with a camera just outside of his bedroom window. So what did Mike Rowe do?

Well, run outside naked with a 12-gauge shotgun to send the airborne intruder to drone heaven, of course.

Thankfully for both Rowe and the drone owner, the TV presenter decided against blowing the small aircraft to kingdom come, outlining his thought process later in a blog post.

Rowe said that he decided against shooting the drone because of how the incident might play on local news should the owner of the drone decide to retaliate by making the video public. Instead, he took a picture of the drone to document the occurrence.

Here's a photo Rowe took of the drone in question.

Read Rowe's thoughts on the situation here on his Facebook feed.

I froze, because I could see the video that might very well appear on the local news, (with considerable blurring, naturally.)

We would suggest reading it in its entirety. It's pretty hysterical.
