The SpaceX explosion earlier this month was caused by a breached helium system

Remember this?

Well SpaceX, the company who made that rocket that exploded on Sept. 1 in Florida, has figured out exactly what caused the fire. It turns out, the explosion was caused by a breach in the ship's "cryogenic helium system."

SpaceX is still working on figuring out what exactly caused the breach.

"All plausible causes are being tracked in an extensive fault tree and carefully investigated," SpaceX wrote in a statement.

SpaceX made it clear that this issue was not connected to last year's Falcon 9 explosion. The Falcon 9 disintegrated on its way to the International Space Station.

The fact that these two incidents are isolated seems to be good thing.
