Former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner has made the jump from creep to potential sex offender.
A high school student from North Carolina, whose name is being withheld by the Daily Mail, sent the organization a series of sexually-explicit messages that Weiner had sent her on Twitter over a long period of time.
The FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office are now investigating Weiner, according to CBS.
Weiner allegedly sent bare-chested photos of himself to the girl. And in one explicit message, told the young woman that he would "...bust that tight p***y so hard and so often that you would leak and limp for a week."
When the Daily Mail confronted Weiner about the messages, he did not necessarily deny that he sent the messages. Instead, he gave a statement that said he had exercised terrible judgement and that we was "heartbroken" for those he had hurt.
The new Anthony Weiner thing has lost any quality of amusement whatsoever; it's just disgusting. And potentially criminal.— Michael Tracey (@mtracey) September 21, 2016
Those online are understandably grossed out.
Others aren't surprised anymore.
Weiner has now given the AP an email, supposedly written by the girl to her teacher, in which she contradicts her story.
The girl told the Daily Mail that she wrote the email because Weiner told her to, but she never sent it.
These messages are coming to light few weeks after Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, announced that she was splitting up from her husband because he had been sexting with another woman.
Weiner was forced to resign from Congress in 2011 after it was revealed he had been exchanging sexual messages with a female college student. Another instance of sexting derailed his bid for New York City mayor in 2013 after it was revealed he had been messaging a woman named Sydney Leathers.
