Emmy viewers on Twitter went nuts over 'Stranger Things' sandwiches and Beyoncé's loss

Awards are nice, but they weren't the only things trending during Sunday's Emmys broadcast.

Twitter mused when Amy Schumer said she was wearing Vivian Westwood and "an O.B. tampon."

One fan praised Schumer's quip as "funny and well timed," complete with a classy GIF.

Elsewhere on the carpet, a pregnant Kerry Washington rocked maternity wear most chic.

One fan admired not just the stylish outfit, but also the confidence Washington exuded.

During the show, Twitter loved when the "Stranger Things" kids gave the audience sandwiches.

Was that a cute thing? Or the cutest thing? One fan saw it as the superlative.

"Game of Thrones" won for best drama, but some thought "The Americans" was more deserving.

"Americans" fans bummed out so much on Twitter that the show trended after the Emmys ended.

And don't even get Beyoncé fans started after "Lemonade" lost an Emmy to "Grease Live."

It was not a good look, according to one member of The Beygency.

But at least one Beyoncé fan managed to find some immediate perspective.
