An anti-cop note was found at the scene of Philly shooting that left 2 officers injured

Philadelphia Police recovered a "rambling" note that expressed hatred for police from the scene of a shooting that left one woman and the gunman dead Friday night.

Two officers were also injured when the gunman opened fire on the streets of Philadelphia at around 11:20 p.m. Friday.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross described the note as "rambling." The note is believed to have been written by the gunman.

The gunman ambushed a police officer who was sitting in her patrol car and shot her several times in the arm and protective vest before fleeing to a nearby bar

There, he hit a security guard in the leg before grabbing a woman and using her as a shield. He shot her in the leg.

Shortly after, as the police chase intensified, the gunman shot into a car, killing a woman and wounding a man.

The fatal victim has yet to be identified.

Thank you for what you do for us every day, and please, please, please, every shift, please wear your vest.

Both officers were in stable condition Saturday at Penn Presbyterian Hospital. The officer who was in her patrol car was hit up to eight times.
