The iPhone 7 hits shelves across the world today (Sept. 16) in what is slated to be Apple's biggest smartphone launch yet.
Apple said Thursday that only "limited quantities" of the iPhone 7 in black, silver, gold and rose gold will be available at retail stores.
So, unless you were one of the lucky ones to purchase a phone during the pre-order period, getting your hands on one of the new phones is going to be extremely difficult.
Apple fans around the world have been lining up for several days in anticipation of the release.
"We couldn't be happier with the initial response to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and we are looking forward to beginning sales through our retail stores and partners around the world," Apple said in a statement earlier this week.
Apple won't release first-weekend numbers.
If you're waiting to hear how Apple's launch goes, don't hold your breath.
Apple says it won't release it's first-weekend iPhone 7 numbers, because they are "no longer a representative metric for our investors and customers."
