Same doctor, new letter: Trump's doctor says his patient is in 'excellent' health



The doctor who first wrote Donald Trump would be the "healthiest individual ever elected," in a letter he said took only five minutes to write maintained his glowing report in a new letter released by Trump's campaign.

"Mr. Trump was hospitalized only once, as a child of 11 years old for an appendectomy," Dr. Harold Bornstein wrote.

This is the first letter Dr. Bornstein wrote that Trump's campaign released in August.

This is the second letter he wrote Tuesday summarizing Trump's latest physical visit.

The same document Trump brought with him to the Dr. Oz show taped on Wednesday.

Bornstein's father, Dr. Jacob Bornstein, treated the Trump family as well, until he died in 2010 at the age of 93.

The new letter comes amid questions about whether or not Trump and Clinton are doing enough to be more transparent to voters.
