Leave it to Amy Schumer to make food poisoning funny

Food poisoning is the absolute worst.

What's even worse? Getting food poisoning in Paris, the city of lights and love.

That's what happened to Amy Schumer and her boyfriend Ben Hanisch, but they didn't let that ruin the trip.

Schumer turned to social media to poke fun at the whole, unfortunate situation.

"Thanks for everything Paris," she wrote. "Except for the food poisoning."

'Grabbing life by its horns'

Schumer even made a video from her hospital bed.

"My name is Amy, I'm 35," she said, mocking dating site introductions. "I love just grabbing life by its horns and experiencing everything. I love music and food and I really just want someone to share all of that with."

Schumer said on Instagram that she is feeling better and will do all of her shows next week.
