Two are injured and the shooter is dead in a school shooting in Alpine, Texas

A female shooter at a high school in Alpine, Texas, is now dead, police say. She died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after shooting and injuring at least one person. A police officer was accidentally shot by a marshall responding to the scene, according to CNN.

Authorities initially believed they were looking for two shooters, but are no longer seeking a second. Few other details are available at this time.
