This 9/11 display made of Coke boxes at a Florida Walmart is causing a major backlash.
We stopped and stared at it like, 'Oh my god.'
Twin Towers display
The 12-pack boxes of canned soda, which were stacked to replicate the Twin Towers, made Twitter user Shawn Richard pause while on his trip to Panama City.
He posted a picture of the display on Tuesday and it wasn't long before people were accusing Walmart of exploiting this tragic event in order to sell soda.
The 15-year anniversary of September 11th is this Sunday.
Some shoppers declared intent to boycott.
To drive the point home, one Tweeter added a plane.

Walmart spokesperson, Charles Crowson, said the display was taken down.

Walmart says that Coke generally comes up with the ideas. Walmart either approves or denies them.
The store has previously used huge product displays during holidays.
Previous attempts by the Panama City store have been creative...
And mostly well-received.
