Ferguson protest leader found shot dead in a burning car



A prominent Missouri activist who led protests over the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson was found dead inside a burning vehicle, police said on Wednesday.

Darren Seals, 29, described himself as an activist, fighter, leader in his Twitter bio.

The St. Louis County Police Department said police are treating Seals death as a homicide.

"Heartbroken by the news of the death activist and Ferguson leader #DarrenSeals," local pastor Cassandra Gould wrote on Twitter.
