One way people are spending their Labor Day weekend: binge watching 'Narcos' on Netflix

Netflix dropped the second season of its Colombian drug cartel drama on Friday and fans everywhere are incredibly amped. 'Narcos,' which tells the story of the Medellín drug cartel and Pablo Escobar, the "King of Cocaine" and the richest criminal in history, first exploded onto the scene with its first season in August of 2015.

The first season which featured 10 episodes was watched by approximately 3.2 million people and if Twitter is any indication, season two will be watched by millions as well.

A brief overview of Season 2 without any major spoilers

During the first season,  more than a decade of Escobar's life and journey was explored, however in the second season the drug drama starts to focus just on the action-packed 16 months between Escobar's escape from La Catedral in the finale, to his ultimate demise (we hope thanks to history, you knew that).

Down the rabbit hole...

Some people were even learning a thing or two from the show.
