The devil is in the details, and Instagram is going to let you see details in all their glory with their new zoom feature.
It rolled out a pinch-to-zoom support in its iOS app on Wednesday. The feature will allow you to zoom in on both videos and photographs in your main feed, as well as on the explore tab and on individual accounts.
Unfortunately Android users will still have to wait their turn at pinching and pulling their screens, but Instagram said the zoom feature will come to them sometime in the "coming weeks."
With the recent support for landscape photos, profile aspect ratios and of course Instagram Stories (the new Snapchat-esque feature that allows you to post photos and videos that last for 24 hours only), Instagram sure has grown and changed significantly in the past few months.
Your guess is as good as ours what they will pull out of their hat next...hyperlinks would be nice.

BREAKING NEWS: When you zoom on Instagram now, it will actually work.
Zoom will probably benefit the baby boomer generation and those older the most.
