Hey, remember that time a study said Millennials were too lazy to eat cereal for breakfast?
Get ready for another one of those stories.
Research from Mintel claims 60 percent of 18-24-year-olds think bar soap is germ-covered after you use it. About 48 percent of the whole U.S. thinks the same way.
The study claims bar soap's popularity overall is in decline, thanks to the rise of body wash.

"Shut up, Millennial! You ruined soap!"
But we just KNOW this will be another "Millennial outrage" piece.
At least Millennials are prepared this time around.
There's seriously a think piece about millennial abandonment of bar soap.— Ben Rawluk (@brawluk) August 26, 2016
That's pretty much our reaction.
I, a millennial, am singlehandedly responsible for the soap bar genocide— Emma Stefansky (@stefabsky) August 26, 2016
But it's OK. We found the person responsible.
i'm a millennial who uses bar soap, but that's mostly because i can get a pack of 4 for $1— maullar@AX (@maullarmaullar) August 26, 2016
and yes ladies... i'm single...........
And we did find one bar soap defender.
