Donald Trump has been in the spotlight over his immigration policies, largely because it's hard to tell exactly what they are right now.
Trump tweeted he will give a speech on the topic Wednesday night.
Trump promised sweeping crackdowns on illegal immigrants early in his campaign, but hinted in a Fox News interview last week that he would "follow the existing laws" and focus on "the bad ones," which sounds a lot like the Obama administration's current policy.
I will be making a major speech on ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION on Wednesday in the GREAT State of Arizona. Big crowds, looking for a larger venue.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 28, 2016
Here's Trump announcing the speech.
And here's Trump insisting he's not flip-flopping on illegal immigration.
Donald Trump is the unpredictable X-factor and Hillary Clinton is the scripted statist.
Trump's campaign has also raised eyebrows after The Washington Post reported his debate prep is markedly different from Hillary Clinton's, including meetings with former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes.
The first presidential debate will be aired Sept. 26.
