Music acts who won multiple VMAs — but no Grammy

WATCH:  Since MTV held its first Video Music Awards ceremony in 1984, some of music's biggest names have claimed multiple Moonman awards, but no Grammys.

This list excludes one-time VMA winners, including The Notorious B.I.G. and Queen (four Grammy nominations each), and Busta Rhymes (11 Grammy nods).

Two VMA wins in 2002, Nickelback has been Grammy-nominated six times, but is 0-for-6.

Backstreet Boys won VMAs in '98 and '99, but have come up short seven times at the Grammys.

Two-time VMA winner Snoop Dogg holds the record for most Grammy nods (18) without a win.

Nicki Minaj owns three Moonmen, but has gone 0-for-10 in her Grammy-nominated categories.

One Direction won four VMAs between 2012 and 2013, but zero Grammy nominations.

Guns N' Roses has four VMA, but lost the Best Hard Rock Performance Grammy three times.

Björk also won four VMAs, but hasn't claimed a Grammy, even with 14 nominations.

The artist with the most VMAs without a Grammy is Katy Perry (five VMAs, 13 Grammy nods).

But, all time, the act with the most VMA wins (seven) without a Grammy (eight nods) is *NSYNC.

*NSYNC alumnus Justin Timberlake, however, has won nine Grammys as a solo artist.
