This guy tried to impress his date. Instead, he got wedged between two buildings

Typically, attempts to impress a hot date end in disaster. For one guy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, his attempt ended with him wedged between two buildings.

According to CBS affiliate KDKA-TV, the man tried to impress his date by jumping from one building rooftop to another. That's when he got stuck and injured his ankle.

After four hours of being stuck between two buildings, the man was pulled out by Pittsburgh emergency responders.

Officials, who were called to the scene at 2 a.m. Tuesday, dug through the wall of a Qdoba restaurant to try to reach the man.

Police talked to the man for hours as rescue workers dug through several layers of the brick wall.

"We were trying to go from inside of the business establishment and that has proved to be a bit difficult because we don't know exactly where he is when we're coming in from the inside," Pittsburgh Public Safety Officer Sonya Toler told KDKA.

Eventually, rescue workers moved the operations to the outside of the building in an attempt to go in the gap between the two buildings.

According to KDKA, a live video feed showed one rescue worker rappelling into the gap between the buildings.

By 6 a.m., the man was wheeled out of the building on a stretcher.

Now the only question that remains is, will he get that second date?
