The United States is funneling billions, possibly trillions, toward an overhaul of its aging nuclear weapons.
In short, the report claims sloppy scheduling and poor risk management could pose problems and may make it difficult for one phase of the plan to be completed on time.

Why the overhaul? A Department of Defense release points to "Russian aggression" as a cause.
That could mean another arms race is already underway, Hans Kristensen, director of the Nuclear Information Project, told The Intercept.
