Officials say poor management threatens $1 trillion US nuclear weapon revamp


The United States is funneling billions, possibly trillions, toward an overhaul of its aging nuclear weapons.

All that could be endangered because poor project management is putting the effort behind schedule, according to a new report from the Department of Energy.

In short, the report claims sloppy scheduling and poor risk management could pose problems and may make it difficult for one phase of the plan to be completed on time.
