Speedo and Ralph Lauren cancelled Ryan Lochte sponorships after Olympic controversy

Ryan Lochte apologized for his behavior in Rio last week. That's not enough for Speedo.

...Or Ralph Lauren.

That robbery? Not so much

In 2016, Lochte had endorsement deals with Speedo, Ralph Lauren and Airweave, a mattress firm.

In 2012, he also had deals with Mutual of Omaha, Gillette and Gatorade, for a total of $2.3 million a year, Time reports.

Lochte initially reported being robbed at gunpoint, but security footage later showed he and other Olympic swimmers had vandalized a gas station.

Here's Lochte's apology for the incident.

Lochte didn't find a lot of sympathy on social media.
