Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein told ABC's "This Week," that Republican Party nominee Donald Trump and Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton "have not earned our vote" for president.
"Politicians do not have a new form of entitlement," Stein added. "They are not entitled to our vote. They have to earn our votes."
According to a poll by ABC News and the Washington Post, about 57 percent of voters are unsatisfied with the top contenders for president.
But on the other hand, a poll by ABC/SSRS showed that 59 percent of voters are concerned that casting a vote for a third party candidate like Jill Stien or Gary Johnson could cause their least-preferred candidate to win the election.
Stein called concerns such as that "the politics of fear."
Instead, she said citizens should vote for the candidate who best represents his or her values.
According to ABC News, Stein has written to the Trump and Clinton campaigns asking for them to allow her and Johnson to participate in the upcoming presidential debates.
