Celebrities are joining in on the #22PushUpChallenge to support US vets

They're calling it the Ice Bucket Challenge of 2016, but instead of ice water, participants are getting drenched in their own sweat.

In 2012, the Department of Veterans Affairs' study on veteran suicide concluded that 22 veterans per day take their own lives.

Now, in an effort to combat these stats, people are using the hashtag #22PushUpChallenge to raise awareness for veteran suicide prevention.

You knock out 22 push-ups on video and then, similar to 2014's viral ASL challenge, task others to do the same.

Everyone from Tom Hardy to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson are joining in on the campaign.
