Last month, "Jordan dude," became an internet sensation when a video of him playing a pick-up basketball game in full '90s-era Michael Jordan gear went viral. On Friday, he got a pretty awesome surprise from his idol.
A local CBS affiliate revealed that the mega fan is Jeffrey Harrison, a 33-year-old autistic man from Pasco, Wash. He's been a Jordan fan since he was four years old and has been shooting hoops in his Jordan gear since 2010.
Jordan got wind of the story and sent Harrison two full boxes of gear and a letter.
In his letter, Jordan thanked Harrison for his support and told him to always remember to play hard and "enjoy the game."
Jordan also surprised Harrison with a personal phone call.
