The Benghazi attack was directly and proximately caused, at a minimum by defendant Clinton's 'extreme carelessness'...
Patricia Smith and Charles Woods are suing Hillary Clinton over the deaths of their sons, and they claim her private email server is to blame.
Patricia is the mother of Sean Smith. Charles is the father of Tyrone Woods. Both were killed in the Benghazi attack in 2012.
There's no evidence to suggest information from Clinton's server found its way to ISIS.
FBI Director James Comey said it was possible that hackers could have accessed the server, but the FBI didn't find any evidence that anyone had.
Patricia Smith spoke at the Republican National Convention in July, saying, "I blame Hillary Clinton personally for the death of my son."
The families are represented by lawyer Larry Klayman, who has long criticized the Clintons, NBC News reports.
Klayman, a former U.S. Justice Department prosecutor during the Reagan administration and the founder of Judicial Watch, filed dozens of lawsuits against the Bill Clinton administration in the '90s.
Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill responded to the lawsuit, saying, "While no one can imagine the pain of the families of the brave Americans we lost at Benghazi, there have been nine different investigations into this attack and none found any evidence whatsoever of any wrongdoing on the part of Hillary Clinton."
