An elderly couple in South Dakota, who had been married 63 years, died just minutes apart on the same day in the same room.
Sounds exactly like the end of "The Notebook," right?
Monday a funeral was held in Platte, South Dakota, for Henry and Jeanette De Lange, who both died July 31, according to CNN.
One of the couple's sons told CNN affiliate KSFY there was a divine quality to them pass at nearly the same time.
"We're calling it a beautiful act of God's providential love and mercy," Lee De Lange told KSFY. "You don't pray for it because it seems mean but you couldn't ask for anything more beautiful."
Jeanette De Lange, 87, died first after suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
Lee De Lange said his father, 86, died about 20 minutes after his other son told him "mom's gone to heaven."
